The Fauna

Foreword; When we say prehistoric, we don't mean wolves running with dinosaurs! Thrive is set in the Upper Paleolithic Era, when humans and neaderthals survived in the same environment and when ancient creatures such as cave hyenas, woolly rhinos and megaceros flourished across the expansive grassland that was (and still is, in places!) the Eurasian Steppes. In some ways, the wildlife is very similar to that you might find in Europe today, although at the same time, many animals are now typical to africa rather than Eurasia, including lions!

I'm going to include some current and extinct fauna.
