WELCOME TO THRIVE !
I'm going to keep this fairly simple for everyone's sake. It looks long, but won't take you a minute to flick through. I know many of you will know the general jist of rp rules, but read nonetheless![/center]
EVERYBODY PLAY NICE !
Respect is paramount. Everyone's equal and we plan to keep it that way; whether admin or a brand new member! Bullying, god-moding, gossiping and other idiocracy toward members will NOT be tolerated.
And speaking of new members, please make and keep to a single account and house all of your characters on there; there's no limit of how many you can have! [But we'll get to that shortly]
WHAT ARE WE LIKE !
We're a PG13 site so don't be surprised to hear a bit of harmless swearing or see a sexual reference, but we won't allow any explicit violence, sex or anything of the like. On the topic of swearing, it's a-ok. Just don't over-do it. Because then you just look like an idiot. Oh, and no chatspeak IC either. I personally have never heard a wolf tell another wolf that he'll BRB, K?[/size][/blockquote]
Finally, we're what I consider an intermediate+ level roleplay. This means a two hundred word IC minimum. Anyone continually posting under this minimum will be consulted. However, if you're a beginner and wish to join Thrive, but worry you can't meet the minimums, we're more than happy for you to join as long as you let us know you're new to rp. We'll give you a month or so to get up to the board standards and lend a hand o;

So, desperate to create your character? Excellent, but there's a few rules on that behalf, too. First and foremost, it's wolves-only! They can be bi-polar and bi-sexual, or whatever you please; just keep them as realistically coloured wolves! If you decide you'd really rather have that Lynx character or whatnot then save up your points and visit the shop to buy one! [Points, you say? All the info is here!]
So, to begin you need to fill the almighty form with your character's information. Any WIP bios must be finished within a week or will be deleted. S/he will then be checked over by a member of staff and and either accepted or placed in pending. The only reason a character won't be accepted immediately is if you have failed to reach word minimums, broken a rule or have missed something. Once accepted, you're free to start role playing but don't UNTIL they're accepted!
Have as many characters as you please, but we'd prefer if you posted a death/leaving thread for you unwanted characters, or alternatively, PM a member of staff to say you wish so-and-so to be finished. This will simply consist of us posting [FINISHED] beside their bio so that others will know. On another note, the magic word is conifer
KEEPING IT INTERESTING !
Everyone loves a good plot, and there's even a lovely little plot board for you to scheme on, but when it comes to more elaborate things such as a very young character appearing on the site or a pregnant female, you must once again save your points for these. Characters must be over six months old and if you have any doubts, just contact me. Please note that making a character and on her first IC post she gets impregnanted, that will not be acceptable. On a different note, we DO allow liquid time![/size][/blockquote]
In regards to pregnant characters, of course characters can get pregnant through role play! Unless a forced mating [of which both characters must be consented to and it being kept PG13, as with any mating], it's preferable that the lucky couple have conversed in at least two full threads before her concieving. Once concieved, post on the birthing sub-board in Plotting. Litter sizes and pup appearances will be chosen fairly by using a random number calculator!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST !
My last few points are these; Please keep posts literate and gramatically correct. And I'm going to say it again; don't forget that we have a two hundred word minimum! As well as this, I'd really like if you could have a flick through the other topics under this board. Some are a little longwinded, yes, although knowing the information will mean Thrive will remain fairly realistic in terms of it's unique IC environment as everyone will have a brief understanding of the seasons and so fourth!
Packs can be created in the plot page. Just follow the info on doing so here.
If anyone happens to break the rules, be rude in general or anything along those lines, we have a warning system. You will be notified verbally first, then this will proceed to short-term or even full-term banning from the site if rule breaking continues.
Images, tables and signatures posted must be no longer than 500px, and avatars can be a maximum of 100 x 200 pixels. Otherwise, the layout goes all crazy. Images should be stock. If you are unsure as to whether the photo you plan to use is stock or not, please credit the owner on the image. Visit this thread for help with stock images.
MOTM and other -OTM competitions will be introduced later on in Thrive's life c;
Lastly, my idea for Thrive was inspired by Jean M Auel's series of books, 'Earth's Children'. All six books are incredible reads and I recommend them highly o; That is all.
